Only Premium and Premium X subscribers currently benefit from the privilege of banking with Elon.
The latest development from the social media network formerly known as Twitter is a financial services platform called X Money. The service is currently available to Premium and Premium+ subscribers of the social network in the United States over the age of 18 after an invitation-only beta phase.

X Money offers its customers a deposit account, peer-to-peer payments and a debit card within the app. The company has integrations with Visa and Apple Wallet. The debit card is available in digital form and in a physical metal version that can be personalized with the individual’s X handle. Other benefits include up to 6.00% APY, 3% cash back bonus, “no foreign transaction fees,” and early direct deposit. The interest rate you receive depends on factors such as your X subscription level or your regular deposits and, as with many similar programs, there is a list of services excluded from cashback. Although X Payments LLC is not an FDIC-insured bank, deposits are held at Cross River Bank, which is Member FDIC and balances are therefore insured.
We knew a payments app was in the works at X, which is just one of many initiatives the company is working on with the goal of becoming an “app for everything.” I don’t know who would trust their money to a platform run by this guy and centered around this AI chatbot, but if you desperately want to, the option is there.
