At $85, the hardware only costs a little more than the game.
During today’s State of Play presentations, Sony gave a hardware tip of the hat to a small upcoming release you may have heard about. The company introduced limited edition themed DualSense controllers Grand Theft Auto 6.
Controllers are available in black or white options. The Roman numeral VI, emblazoned with Rockstar’s official brand from the game’s logo, is shown in gray on the touchpad. The buttons on both sides of the controller have hot pink detailing and the bottom is an iridescent blue, which is a very Miami/Vice City color scheme. There is also an embossed palm leaf pattern in the handle parts, which is a neat tactile addition.
Both colors will be available on November 19, the same date the game finally arrives. Pre-orders will open on September 10 at 10 a.m. ET and the expected price will be $85.
If you’re losing your mind counting the days until November 19, be sure to rewatch the extended trailer that debuted last week and see if you noticed any clues or Easter eggs beyond the catalog we have. (Do not download anything from Rockstar sketch and copy sites.)
