With the fifth beta of iOS 27, Apple has expanded the voice personalization options for Siri AI.
Rhythm and expressiveness can now be adjusted for more vocal options available instead of just the two American voices.
There are seven US voice options and four UK voices to choose from, all of which can be customized with different rhythm and expressiveness settings. Rhythm changes speaking speed, while expressiveness changes accent.
Siri AI voice personalization is done on-device, so the functionality is limited to newer iPhones. You need an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, or iPhone Air to use Voice Personalization on an iPhone.
It’s available on Macs with an M3 chip or newer and at least 12 GB of RAM, as well as the iPad Pro M4 and newer, also with at least 12 GB of RAM.

In May, Apple agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class-action lawsuit in the United States over the delayed launch of Siri AI, and eligible iPhone users could receive up to $95 in payments.
