The showcase will feature an in-depth look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation and likely some angry people in live chat.
Sony is set to showcase a whole bunch of games during back-to-back State of Play broadcasts on Thursday. You can watch them here when things start at 9 a.m. ET on September 3 by clicking the big red play button on the YouTube video below. Alternatively, you can watch the double-header on YouTube (a version with English subtitles is also available) or Twitch.
The first State of Play is a broader event that will feature games from PlayStation Studios as well as Sony partners from around the world. Square Enix is one such third party, as the showcase will include “an expansive look at the vast world of Final Fantasy 7 reveal“Right after this first event, we will move on to State of Play Japan, which will feature games from Asian developers.
Beyond another look at the final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, Sony hasn’t given fans a clear idea of what to expect here. We will probably receive reminders Marvel’s Wolverine is coming in a few days and you can buy/pre-order the new PlayStation wireless monitor and speakers. Considering everything that’s happening on PlayStation right now, I’m sure the live chat will be extremely relaxed and normal.
