Apple TV currently has a solid lineup of top shows, but May will feature several more new series, as well as the first John Travolta-directed movie, and much more. Here’s everything new coming to Apple TV in May.
Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix

The 2026 F1 season is well underway, but May 3 is important for Apple viewers because it will host the first US-based race: the Miami Grand Prix. Apple TV subscribers in the US get full access to all F1 races plus bonus coverage, all at no extra cost.
Unconditional

“Unconditional” follows a mother-daughter vacation turned nightmare when 25-year-old Gali (Talia Lynne Ronn) is arrested for drug trafficking in Moscow. Her mother, Orna (Liraz Chamami), refuses to accept the accusations, but her fight for Gali’s freedom draws her into a deadly web of crime and corruption.
Maximum pleasure guaranteed

“Maximum Fun Guaranteed” follows newly divorced mom Paula (Maslany) as she falls into a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth football. Propeller one-way night coach

Star City

Inspired by the space race drama For All Mankind, “Star City” is a propulsive paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alternate history of the space race: when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time we explore the history behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, engineers and intelligence officers involved among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward.
