Elon Musk’s X Corp and SpaceXAI have decided to dismiss the lawsuit against Apple, according to a court filing. The lawsuit was resolved in federal court in Texas, although we have no details on the reasoning behind the dismissal.
We also don’t know if any sort of settlement was reached. Woozad has contacted Apple for more information. We will update this post when we have a response.
The original lawsuit was filed by Musk’s companies last year and accused Apple of violating antitrust laws. Indeed, the company integrated ChatGPT tools into Apple Intelligence, which “locked in markets to maintain their monopolies and prevent innovators like X and xAI from competing.”
The complaint also suggested that Apple and OpenAI were conspiring against SpaceXAI’s products, like the Grok chatbot, sometimes praising Adolph Hitler. He then accused Apple of not promoting its applications on the App Store.
“Without its exclusive agreement with OpenAI, Apple would have no reason to refrain from further highlighting the X app and the Grok app in its App Store,” the company once said. Reuters.
It is worth noting that many of OpenAI’s competitors offered apps that remained at the top of the App Store charts for some time, even after the partnership with Apple. This includes both DeepSeek and Perplexity, but not SpaceXAI.
OpenAI was also named in the original lawsuit. Musk’s companies say they will continue to file lawsuits against the maker of ChatGPT, according to a report from CNBC. Today’s dismissal concerns only Apple.
xAI’s decision to create and host a breeding ground for predators to distribute sexually explicit and non-consensual AI deepfakes, including images digitally undressing children, is despicable.

SpaceXAI is currently involved in another lawsuit. This one involves accusations that Grok was used to generate thousands of child sexual abuse images (CSAM). There are also allegations that it facilitates “the large-scale production of non-consensual and doctored intimate images that are used to harass women and girls on the internet.” This prompted an official investigation by California authorities, which is still ongoing.
Who could guess why the Grok app is at the top of the App Store charts? This must simply be market manipulation.
