After being shown off at CES, Belkin recently started shipping some of their latest MagSafe and Qi2 products for 2026. The first is their slim Qi2 battery for iPhone, which has a built-in kickstand.
This is by no means the first slim 5,000 mAh MagSafe battery for iPhone, but the Belkin BoostCharge Slim does have one notable feature: a kickstand. This is great for watching videos, FaceTime, or putting your phone on a desk.
Beyond the kickstand, the Belkin BoostCharge Slim offers pretty much everything you’d expect from a 5,000mAh MagSafe battery bank. It provides 15W Qi2 charging to your iPhone, but also has the functionality to charge other devices with its USB-C port at up to 20W – in case you want to use it as a normal battery bank.
There’s also dual-device charging, letting you charge one device wired at 12W and charge another wirelessly at 7.5W.
Despite its slim design, I will say that the BoostCharge Slim surprisingly does not heat up. In my heavy use, I never noticed it heating up, which can’t always be said of MagSafe accessories.
It comes with a USB-C charging cable in the box, features a nice soft-touch silicone finish on the side that contacts your iPhone – and a hard plastic finish on the front.
Overall, if you’re looking to buy a MagSafe battery for your iPhone, whether it’s an iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, or anything else, I’d say the Belkin BoostCharge Slim is a great option. The kickstand is a pretty invaluable feature, and it does everything very well. You can buy one for $54.99 on the Belkin website. It comes in three colors: White, Sand and Black.
