BloombergMark Gurman of Mark Gurman reported today that Apple plans to launch a second-generation MacBook Neo in 2027 with three updates: an A19 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, and new color options.
Released in March 2026, the current MacBook Neo features an A18 Pro chip with 8GB of RAM and is available in Silver, Blush, Citrus, and Indigo. In the United States, the laptop initially started at $599, but Apple increased the price to $699 in June. Apple continues to offer a $100 discount to students and education staff.
