Apple has launched web access for Apple Card Savings, giving current and former Apple Card users a new way to view and manage their accounts outside of the Wallet app. Here are the details.
Apple Card users get access to the web to save
Current and former Apple Card holders can now go to card.apple.com/saving, where they can perform the same actions as from the Wallet app when it comes to the Savings section.
This includes checking current and available balances, viewing year-to-date interest paid and annual yield percentage, and downloading statements and tax documents.
The interface is extremely simple and does not offer the same graphics and navigation as the Wallet app.
Still, it’s a useful fallback for quickly checking your savings balance or downloading account documents when accessing Savings via Wallet isn’t an option, including for users with closed Apple Card accounts.
As a reminder, a savings account can be opened by Apple Card owners and co-owners, and this is where users can automatically deposit the daily money they earn from Apple Card purchases.
Users can also add money from Apple Cash or a linked external bank account.
Here’s what users need to open a savings account, according to Apple’s support document:
Once these requirements are met, users can open the Wallet app, tap Apple Card, tap the More button, select Rewards & Offers, then tap Set Up next to Savings.
