In the United States, Apple charges a higher out-of-warranty fee of $129 to replace the battery of an iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max compared to previous models, according to its website.
Apple has always charged $119 to replace the battery in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro models, so the fee increased by $10 for the iPhone 18 Pro models, which have larger batteries. However, if your iPhone has AppleCare+ coverage, Apple will replace the battery at no additional cost if its capacity has fallen below 80%. You can check this in the Settings app under Battery → Battery Health.
