Next week, customers who sign up for an Apple Card at Apple stores in the US will get $249 cash back when they buy AirPods Pro 3, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Apple has not officially announced the promotion yet, so full details are still unknown.
Since AirPods Pro 3 cost $249 in the US, this promotion means customers who sign up for an Apple Card will basically get the AirPods Pro for free.
Apple Card cash back is called Daily Cash, so customers will get the $249 back on the same day they sign up.
The Apple Card launched in 2019 and is still only available in the US. You can manage it in the iPhone’s Wallet app. Some main benefits are color-coded spending summaries, no fees, and daily cash back. Cardholders can also open a high-yield savings account.
Right now, Goldman Sachs issues the Apple Card, but Apple has said that Chase will take over by early 2028.
