Apple plans to announce two new AirPods 5 models as early as Wednesday, September 9, according to BloombergIt’s Mark Gurman. Like AirPods 4, AirPods 5 will be available with and without active noise cancellation, he said.
References to AirPods 5 were already discovered in macOS 26.7 code last week. The report does not specify how the AirPods 5 will differ from the AirPods 4, launching in September 2024 for $129 to $179.
