‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ renewed for season 2

Apple confirmed earlier this evening that “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” has been renewed for a second season, ahead of next week’s finale.

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” premiered last month to critical acclaim, “quickly earning a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes,” as Apple noted in its press release.

The series also received its first nominations a few weeks ago, with Elle Fanning (Predator: Badlands) nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series, and Michelle Pfeiffer (Scarface) for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2026 Gotham Television Awards.

In addition to Fanning and Pfeiffer, the series also stars Nicole Kidman (The Hours), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), and Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets).

Here is the synopsis of the show on Apple TV:

The daughter of a former Hooters waitress and a former professional wrestler, Margo is a recent college dropout and an aspiring writer. Faced with a new baby, a pile of bills piling up and fewer ways to pay them, Margo must find a solution.
