Apple TV’s hit series The Studio has consistently won every major award this season, and now it’s achieved something historic that no comedy has ever done before.
The Studio is the first comedy to win every major award
The Studio’s Season 2 is currently filming, but last year’s Season 1 continues to garner praise.
Apple’s hit comedy has won every major award it’s been nominated for so far. This includes:
- Outstanding Comedy Emmy Awards
- Best Comedy at the Golden Globes
- Best Comedy at the Critics Choice Awards
- and more
And now, The Studio has also won the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) International Award 2026. It beat fellow nominees The Bear, The Diplomat, The White Lotus and Apple’s Pluribus and Severance.
This victory makes The Studio, according to Apple, “the first comedy in history to win all the major awards in a single season”.

No announcement has been made yet regarding the timing of season 2. Season 1 of The Studio premiered in spring 2025.
Here’s hoping the show returns this fall. At the latest, season 2 should be broadcast in early 2027.
