Sources: Apple plans two rounds of product launches in October
BloombergMark Gurman of recently reported that Apple plans to unveil an all-new Home Hub, a new HomePod mini, and a new Apple TV 4K on Tuesday, October 13 and Woozad has since learned of another launch planned for later this month.
Apple plans to unveil additional new products in the last week of October, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
While we don’t know exactly what products Apple plans to announce in the last week of October, the most likely possibilities are all Macs, including the long-rumored “MacBook Ultra” models with OLED displays and a thinner, lighter design, a base model 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, and an iMac with an M6 chip.
Apple also previously announced that it would release a high-end Mac Studio configuration with the M5 Ultra chip and 512GB of RAM “in late October.”
Another new product expected in October is a new iPad mini with an OLED display, A20 Pro chip, landscape front camera, redesigned speaker system, and more. It’s unclear whether the device will be announced alongside new home products on October 13, alongside new Macs during the last week of October, or at some other time this month.
Overall, it looks like Apple has two rounds of product launches planned for October, in addition to the iPhone Duo launch on Friday, October 23. Get ready, because the weeks ahead will be busy in the world of Apple.
