It’s called Prio and it folds up when not in use, making it easy to transport.
Razer has just announced the Prio, a compact mobile game controller. It connects via USB-C and works with iOS and Android. The big hook here is that it folds up when not in use, making it extremely user-friendly.
Despite its small size, the Prio offers console-quality controls. The gamepad features a 4-way touchscreen D-pad, face buttons, bumpers, and triggers. It also features capacitive analog sticks that have been “designed to reduce drift.” The company says this should ensure precise controls, “even on a bumpy ride.”
It connects via USB-C, so setup should be pretty seamless. This also means no extra battery to charge. The Prio was designed to fit most thin to medium-sized phone cases and supports phones up to seven inches. This includes beefy handsets like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Razer Prio integrates with native gaming on mobile platforms, as well as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play, and Razer’s PC Remote Play service. This looks like a solid and quite adorable mobile controller.
It’s available for purchase now and costs $100. The company says this is the first entry in a new line of ultra-portable mobile gaming controllers, so expect more releases in the future.
