OpenAI launches separate ChatGPT iOS app for enterprise users

OpenAI now has a new iOS app in the App Store, although it’s not quite Codex related. Instead, it is a separate version of ChatGPT for iPhone and iPad created specifically for schools and professional organizations.

ChatGPT for Intune now available

The new business-specific app is called ChatGPT for Intune. OpenAI says it includes the company’s “latest advancements, designed for users whose organizations require Microsoft Intune.”

“This official app is free, syncs your history across devices, and brings you the latest from OpenAI, including image generation,” the company says.

The app is specifically created for “users who need Microsoft Intune for work or school” because many organizations need apps managed by Intune.

OpenAI highlights these features with ChatGPT for Intune:

  • Generate images from a description or transform existing images with simple prompts.
  • Use advanced voice mode for real-time conversations, hands-free workflows, and spoken brainstorming.
  • Upload photos and files to summarize content, extract key details, or answer questions about what you’re sharing.
  • Write, revise and refine emails, messages, briefs and other written content.
  • Summarize notes, documents, and research to get to the important points faster.
  • Brainstorm ideas, draft plans, and organize next steps for projects and meetings.
  • : Discover new topics, explore concepts, and get step-by-step explanations tailored to your needs.
  • Get quick, clear answers to everyday business tasks and general questions.

ChatGPT for Intune is now available on the App Store.

Next, OpenAI is expected to bring Codex Control for Mac to the iPhone, perhaps this week.
