Meta released two new apps for iPhone this month

Meta is on an iPhone app launch streak after introducing two new apps in May. The latest is an application dedicated to a key feature of Facebook: groups.
Forum is a new Facebook application that provides “spaces dedicated to groups”
Meta’s new iPhone-only app is officially called “Forum, a Facebook App.”
Forum joins the standalone Facebook app and Messenger on iOS. It also joins Instants, the new iPhone app launched by Meta’s Instagram earlier this month.
The new Forum app aims to make Facebook Groups a standalone experience on iPhone.

Here is the description of the app, according to the App Store listing:
Forum, a Facebook app, offers a dedicated space designed for deeper discussions, real answers, and the communities you care about.
Forum, a Facebook app, is a space dedicated to the conversations that matter most to you, designed for groups you already love and those you haven’t yet discovered.
Dedicated space for your groups
Log in with your Facebook account and your groups, profile and activity are preserved. You have the option to post with a nickname. Your groups still exist on Facebook and anything you share on the Forum will be visible in your groups on Facebook. It’s just a space built around them.
Stay up to date with conversations that interest you
Your feed is built around group conversations. See what real people are saying, not just trends, and easily get back to where you left off.
Ask and get answers from real people
Are you looking for opinions, advice or recommendations? Ask aggregates answers from all groups, so you can immediately get answers from people who have been there and join the conversation.
Designed for people who lead groups
Admins still have access to all their tools on Facebook, and they now also have an Al Admin Assistant on Forum to help them manage their groups, moderate content, and keep their communities healthy, all while remaining in control.
Dive into the topics that interest you
The forum brings people together around the things they care about, from specialty hobbies to local recommendations to support groups. Share your perspective, join the conversation, and connect with your communities.
You can download the latest Meta app from the App Store.
