Expect several new phones, a refreshed Pixel Watch, and perhaps some price increases.
It’s almost time for Google to introduce the Pixel 11 lineup. The company will host a Made By Google event to showcase this year’s batch of devices on August 12. This edition will take place a little later than usual, starting at 6 p.m. ET.
You can watch the stream here by clicking the play button on the embedded video below or venturing over to YouTube. We will have a liveblog that evening, where we will detail all the announcements in real time with expert analysis. And of course, we’ll keep you updated with comprehensive news coverage.
As for what to expect from Google’s event, we’ll almost certainly see four new phones: the base Pixel 11, two Pro models of different sizes, and a foldable. Google revealed a colorful indicator on the back of the Pixel 11 Pro, so we’ll find out what that is as well. We also expect there to be some new colorways this year. Given soaring component costs and rising prices on many other devices, Pixel 11 devices could well be more expensive than previous generation models.
In addition to phones and a new Pixel Watch, rumors have hinted at Google’s unveiling of its long-awaited AirTag-like location tracking tool. We may also receive news about upcoming Android XR devices.
