Three iconic “Peanuts” specials will once again be available on the Apple TV streaming service without a subscription for a limited time this holiday season.
Here’s when each special will be available to stream for free in the Apple TV app:
- “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”: Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18
- “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”: Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 15
- “A Charlie Brown Christmas”: Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13
Apple TV subscribers can already watch the specials at any time of the year.
In 2020, a petition calling for the return of “Peanuts” specials to network television received hundreds of thousands of signatures. Apple eventually allowed the “Peanuts” specials to air on PBS in 2020 and 2021, but since then has opted to make the specials available for free for a short time through its streaming service.
“Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy,” “Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift” and more will also premiere on the Apple TV streaming service this holiday season.
