Later today, Apple will report its second quarter 2026 results, in which component shortages, the continued success of the iPhone 17 line and low availability of Macs are expected to play a small role. Here’s how you can listen live.
Component shortages and Mac performance expected to take center stage
Half an hour after the closing bell today, Apple will release its fiscal second quarter 2026 results, followed by a conference call in which Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Kevan Parekh will discuss the results.
As in the previous quarter, the conversation will likely center around ongoing memory shortages, both in terms of how Apple handled them last quarter and how it plans to handle them in the future.
The Mac is also expected to feature strongly in this quarter’s results, as the period includes the launch of the MacBook Neo, as well as an increase in demand for the Mac mini and Mac Studio models (amid memory shortages), driven by users looking to run AI agents such as OpenClaw.
Over the past few weeks, several analyst reports have also highlighted Apple’s sustained good performance in iPhone sales, thanks to the success of the iPhone 17 line. Apple has also been able to better manage the memory shortage with the iPhone, as competitors such as Samsung have had no choice but to raise prices on certain devices in certain countries.
Apple’s conference call is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET, with executives delivering prepared remarks before moving on to questions from analysts.
As usual, the call will be streamed live and you can listen to it via this link.
