Following this morning’s announcement of the iPhone event which will take place on September 9, Apple has added a space reserved for the event on its YouTube channel.
Apple will stream the “Surprise and Shine” event on YouTube, on the Apple Events website, and in the Apple TV app wherever it is available.
YouTube users can click on the video placeholder and choose the “Notify me” option to receive a notification when the live stream has finished. Apple also added a countdown timer for events.
If YouTube has your location information, the notification and countdown will be shown at your local time, so it’s a good way to check when you’ll need to log in to watch the event.
Apple’s event will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which is 1 p.m. Eastern Time, 6 p.m. British Summer Time, 7 p.m. Central European Summer Time, 10:30 p.m. India Standard Time, 1 a.m. China Standard Time (Thursday, September 10), 1 a.m. Western Australian Standard Time, 3 a.m. Eastern Australian Standard Time and 5 a.m. New Zealand Standard Time.
