July was a busy month for AppleCare+ news. We’ve summarized all the changes to AppleCare+ and the AppleCare One package below.
In the United States, Apple increased the prices of AppleCare+ monthly and annual subscriptions for Mac and iPad by $0.50/month and $5/year, respectively.
AppleCare+ monthly and annual subscription plans expanded for the first time this month to a wider range of Apple products in Canada and Japan.
AppleCare+ with anti-theft and loss plans for iPad and Apple Watch expanded to five countries: Japan, Australia, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
AppleCare One is also growing. From Tuesday August 4, it will be available in Australia, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Launched in the US last year, AppleCare One covers up to three devices under a single monthly subscription, and the total cost can be lower than multiple AppleCare+ plans. In the UK, for example, Apple said customers can save up to £11.48/month instead of paying for three separate AppleCare+ plans with theft and loss.
