When Apple first announced Silo’s upcoming return, the company debuted a trailer offering a first look at what to expect.
This trailer hinted that Season 3 would delve into the “how” and “why” of the different silos created.
Today’s new teaser, however, arguably offers a more spoiler-heavy preview of Season 3 by focusing on the evolution of one character: that of Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols.
Apple TV shared the new clip via Rotten Tomatoes on X:
As shown in the brief clip, Rebecca Ferguson’s character Juliette becomes the new mayor of the silo.
This public role is quite different from the character’s starting point on the show.
At the start of Season 1, Juliette was a mechanic who preferred to stay out of the public eye and was essentially forced into the role of sheriff. But over the course of two seasons, his role in the spotlight grew significantly. This position of mayor simply formalizes a leadership role that was already imposed on him.
Silo season 3 premieres Friday July 3 with its first episode, with weekly releases until September 4.
If you can’t wait to find out what happens next, Silo is based on a trilogy of popular novels by Hugh Howey. Seasons 3 and 4 will each cover aspects of Books 2 and 3.
You can catch the first two seasons of Silo here on Apple TV.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per monthor you can get it at a discount via the Apple One plan.
