Cape Fear is coming to Apple TV soon, here is the new trailer

Apple TV is best known for its sci-fi series, comedies, and thrillers, but horror is hard to come by.
Currently, Apple is streaming the popular comedy-horror mashup Widow’s Bay, but a new series coming next month will lean even more heavily into the horror genre.
Cape Fear is coming Friday June 5 with its first two episodes, followed by weekly releases until July 31.
It stars Javier Bardem, Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson and is produced by Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.
Apple describes the series as a “psychological horror thriller”, indicating that the fear element may be more psychological and not heavy on physical violence. But as the new trailer released today shows, that doesn’t mean it’s shy when it comes to horror vibes.
Here’s the official plot summary for Cape Fear, followed by the trailer:
Based on the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, a storm brews for happily married lawyers Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson) when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is released from prison – and he wants revenge.
In addition to Cape Fear, Apple’s summer lineup includes the highly anticipated return of Ted Lasso, new seasons of several sci-fi hits and more.
