Tim Cook says he won’t meddle in the affairs of new Apple CEO John Ternus
In his new role as executive chairman of Apple’s board, Tim Cook said The IndependentDavid Phelan said he “doesn’t meddle” in the affairs of new Apple CEO John Ternus.
“First of all, John and I have an incredible level of trust in each other,” Cook said. “The relationship has to be based on trust, and the communication has to be frequent and meaningful. But other than that, what I’m focused on right now is global politics. And interfacing with governments around the world is important because there are a lot of things that we’re trying to advance or advocate for change. There’s a significant amount of work in that area, and I’m doing that and helping John in any way he sees fit. I’m not meddling. I’m not an interference.”
