Apple removes Intel Macs from Magic Mouse/Trackpad compatibility lists

Apple updated its Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad product pages around August 25 to remove all Intel-based Macs from the accessory compatibility lists, and this week it updated some related technical specifications pages to reflect these changes.

Since the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad still work with Intel Macs, it’s unclear why the accessories are now considered compatible only with Apple Silicon Macs. Apple has not yet responded to our requests for comment.
