People considering purchasing an iPhone Duo can follow the “Get Ready” process starting Monday, October 12. The new detail was added to the iPhone Duo product page yesterday, according to Reddit.
Get Ready allows users to select a preferred color and capacity, confirm their carrier status, choose accessories, choose an AppleCare+ plan, select an exchange, add a payment method, and set a shipping and billing address.
When pre-orders go live, Get Ready is useful because it allows ordering with just one click. This will be especially beneficial for the iPhone Duo as supplies are expected to be limited.
Pre-orders could sell out in minutes given reports of production issues leading to supply constraints, and users with Get Ready will be able to submit orders faster.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo will begin on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time or 8 a.m. Eastern Time. The device will launch on Friday, October 23. Pricing starts at $1,999.
