Apple no longer signs iOS 26.6.2, so if you upgraded to iOS 27, there is no option to revert to a version of iOS 26. iOS 27 was released a week ago.
“Signed” software can pass a server-side check that Apple performs when a new version of iOS is downloaded. If an update fails the verification check, it cannot be installed.
By unsigning software, Apple prevents customers from installing outdated and less secure versions of iOS.
If you haven’t installed iOS 27 yet, you can still continue using iOS 26, but once you upgrade, you can’t go back. You also can’t upgrade from iOS 27 to iOS 26.7 (which was released with iOS 27) because iOS 26.7 is an over-the-air update with no rollback file available.
