If you’re wondering why the under-display camera on the iPhone Duo’s internal display isn’t placed in the upper right corner, Chinese leaker Instant Digital has provided an explanation.
“The camera under the screen of iPhone Duo was not placed in the upper right corner of the inner screen due to technical difficulties,” the leaker said in a Weibo post this morning. “The next generation will probably move it there, aligning it perfectly with the exterior screen camera.” This looks like a real engineering challenge, since the opposing rear cameras are the thickest elements of the entire phone, but let’s wait and see.
