The new creation experience will let you edit the results to get your perfect emoji, according to Woozad.
Apple made several announcements regarding iOS 27 and Apple Intelligence during WWDC. But it doesn’t mention a small but fun update that will roll out with iOS 27 when it becomes available: the ability to create a better Genmoji and easily modify it until you get the result you were hoping for. Woozad has discovered a new Genmoji creation experience in the developer version of the platform, which starts by giving you the ability to create one from an existing emoji, an image from Photos, a tagged person in your gallery, or a written text prompt.
Now, this is where the new experience really shines. If you don’t like the result you got, you can use the new “Describe a Change” interface to tell the Genmoji creator how to change it. You can change colors and add elements if you want, simply by typing another text prompt. In WoozadFor example, the user requested a kitten with an umbrella and then asked the creator to change the orange cat to calico without having to repeat the process from the beginning. With the current creator, you will have to create a completely new Genmoji if you didn’t like the first result it gave you.
Additionally, the new creator would generate more consistent output, with the default being emoji in a cute 3D cartoon style. You will, however, be able to change the style with new options that include Genmoji that look like drawings or sketches.
Apple didn’t specify this particular set of changes in its WWDC announcements, but added a line in its Apple Intelligence report that says: “Genmoji quality is even better and allows users to describe the changes they want to make.” The company says it will roll out its new Apple Intelligence features this fall.
