Apple TV is kicking off June with several strong series already broadcast, including Widow’s Bay and Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. But the new month will bring another high-profile original series, Cape Fear, as well as two returning shows and perhaps a long-delayed project. Here’s everything coming to Apple TV in June.
Cape Fear

- When: June 5
- What: TV show
- Gender: Horror-Thriller
Based on the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, a storm brews for happily married lawyers Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson) when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is released from prison – and he wants revenge.
Sugar (season 2)

- When: June 19
- What: TV show
- Gender: Neo-Noir Mystery
“Sugar” is a contemporary and unique take on one of the most popular and important genres in the history of literature, cinema, and television: the private detective novel. Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell stars as John Sugar, an American private investigator who follows the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also uncover the secrets of the Siegel family; some very recent, others buried for a long time.
Camp Snoopy (season 2)

- When: June 26
- What: TV show
- Gender: Children and family
Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts look forward to spending some carefree time in the majestic scenery of Camp Spring Lake. Featuring Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang, join Snoopy and the birds as they walk, swim, and jump in a new series of outdoor fun and adventures!
This summer at Camp Snoopy, search for the elusive hedge toad, build towering sandcastles, and debate the merits of hot dogs versus hamburgers. The second season is produced by Paige Braddock, Chris Bracco, Rob Boutilier, Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, and Logan McPherson.
Wildcard: The Scholar

The Savant is another strong possibility for a June premiere, although nothing has been announced.
Apple’s Jessica Chastain thriller was originally scheduled to arrive last September, but was delayed shortly before its release. Last month, Chastain indicated that a release was still pending. And Variety reported that July was the target date, according to its sources.
However, a slightly earlier premiere could happen as Apple’s June slate is lighter than usual, while July is already busy. It’s very rare for Apple to have only three premieres per month, as the June calendar currently shows. This indicates that the company could add The Savant to its schedule with minimal notice, just as it did with another recently delayed show: The Hunt.
New Episodes: Widow’s Bay, Maximum Fun Guaranteed, and More

June will also bring new episodes for a variety of currently streaming Apple TV series, including:
