The new Siri Remote costs $59 and is compatible with these Apple TV models
The new Siri Remote revealed today is compatible with all Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models released since 2015, according to Apple.
The complete list of compatible models:
- Apple TV 4K (4th generation)
- Apple TV 4K (3rd generation)
- Apple TV 4K (2nd generation)
- Apple TV 4K (1st generation)

The key change with the new Siri Remote is full support for the Find My app and Precision Find feature, allowing you to find the exact location of the remote if it disappears by following the on-screen directional arrows on a compatible iPhone. The remote now has a speaker that can play a sound to help you locate it.
Apple says Precision Finding support for the new Siri Remote requires an iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, or iPhone 17 or later (excluding iPhone 17e).
The remote has the same overall design, buttons, and USB-C charging port.
