Nothing else happens that day, right?
Most game publishers went out of their way and changed their release dates to avoid the nuclear bomb that the arrival of Grand Theft Auto 6 should be on players’ time off this fall. So it might be a surprise to see the console release of Edmund McMillen’s game. THE Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ online scheduled for November 19, exactly the same day of GTA6 launch. But honestly? Respect.
This chapter adds a multiplayer layer to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirthwith online co-op for up to four people. It includes the entire roguelike and all of its many expansions over the years. You can play Repentance+ online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. It has been available in beta on PC since 2024, although it has received mixed reception with some players experiencing performance issues and bugs.
It turned into quite a busy year for McMillen, who also launched a brand new, non-Isaac roguelike called Mewgenism in February.
