‘Running’ Adds Rhea Seehorn as Cast Member

The Apple TV account on X confirmed today that Rhea Seehorn is joining the cast of “Running,” a new Apple Originals movie.

Seehorn rose to fame as Kim Wexler in “Better Call Saul,” and now stars in “Pluribus,” her second collaboration with Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad).

According to Apple, Running will be directed by Gavin O’Connor and will also star Spike Fearn (Alien: Romulus, Back to Black) and Brian Tyree Henry.

Henry’s addition to the cast was confirmed last month, marking his third collaboration with Apple TV, following “Causeway,” which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, and “Dope Thief,” which earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Film.

According to Apple, “Running follows a homeless running prodigy, played by Spike Fearn, in search of greatness as he uses his gifts to overcome his past and start a family. »

“Running” is written by Bill Dubuque, who collaborated with director Gavin O’Connor on The Accountant 2, Amazon MGM Studios’ second most-streamed film of all time.

As is usually the case with features early in production, there are no details on when “Running” is expected to come to Apple TV.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and offers hit TV shows and movies like Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
