The Odyssey G7 is offered in two variations which are distinguished by their dimensions: a 37 inch in 4K UHD (3,840 × 2 160) and a unpublished 40 inch Wide UHD (5,120 × 2 160), with cinematographic proportions. The refresh rate reached up to 180 Hz for the 40 ” and 165 Hz for the 37 ”, with a quick response time of barely 1 ms, all on a 1000R curvature, a real invitation to immersion.
The 40 ” offers a display area almost 32 % larger than a classic 32 inch, promoting an overall vision without compromise. Samsung adds Picture-By-Picture and Picture-In-Picture practices, facilitating multitasking in full screen. Certified Vesa Displayhdr 600, these monitors deliver a brightness of 350 nits, for a marked contrast and faithful colors, whether in play or in front of a film. Level features, Samsung leaves nothing to chance: HDR10+ Gaming, AMD Freesync Premium Pro, Coresync to synchronize light effects, SWITCH+ Source Auto, as well as a complete connection (1 × DisplayPort 1.4, 2 × HDMI 2.1).
3D without glasses always relevant
Samsung remains at the top of the global market for gaming monitors since 2019. In the first quarter of 2025, its market share reached 18.9 % at the global level, and even 24.6 % in Europe, according to the IDC.
But the innovation does not stop there since Samsung also widens its Odyssey 3D without glasses ecosystem, by revealing partnerships with Netmarble and Shift Up to present, in preview at Gamescom, Mongil: Star Dive and Stellar Blade in 3D. Visitors to the show will be able to discover them on the Odyssey 3D screen (G90XF model), without glasses, supplemented with a personalized depth adjustment according to the parallax of the images.
In addition, the Odyssey 3D HUB platform will enrich the compatible content library by the end of 2025, from more than 25 to more than 50 games, including Lies of P: Overture DLC, Stellar Blade or Mongil: Star Dive.
Finally, Samsung highlights its Odyssey OLED monitors: the G6 (G60SF) at 500 Hz and the G8 (G81SF) 4K at 240 Hz, offered in the Blizzard (for World of Warcraft) and Pearl Abyss (Crimson Desert) stands, with more than 100 and 130 deployed screens. A configuration designed to provide players with players an exceptional graphic experience!
