Meta today launched a new standalone app called “Forum” that aggregates Facebook groups into a dedicated feed separate from the main Facebook experience. The app was spotted by Matt Navarra without any official announcement from the company. Its App Store listing describes Forum as “a space dedicated to the conversations that matter most to you,” designed for groups users already belong to and those they haven’t yet discovered. The forum feed surfaces conversations from a user’s existing groups instead of mixing them with friends’ posts, pages, and algorithmically recommended content. When they first log in, users are asked what they…

A red banner on the Sonos status page reads: “We have identified an issue with the availability of the Sonos app in the iOS/Mac App Stores and are working on a solution. You may experience issues downloading or updating…
Amazon’s Kindle product line is one of the most popular e-book readers on the market. Alternatives such as the Kobo Clara Color are also worth buying, but it’s hard to deny that the Kindle is an incredible device due to its absolutely gargantuan library. At least until you realize that the books you read may not be the same as those you can find in a physical library. Recently, user X @coastalsoftgir decided to start reading “Pretty Little Liars” on his Kindle and noticed a strange inclusion on page five. Normally, a book passage on this page mentions “Fear Factor,”…

Bloomberg reports, however, that Bungie has no new projects in the works and does not plan to begin them immediately. Destiny 3. The studio will instead focus on its latest game, Marathon, its first-person shooter released in March, perhaps in an effort to develop the kind of features and updates that would entice more players to sign up. Marathon didn’t perform as well as Sony had hoped, resulting…

Yes, new Google smart glasses are finally coming. Some of the major features they will offer include the ability to search for directions, send texts and other messages, and take photos from the glasses themselves “without taking out your phone,” according to Google. Much like Meta’s Ray-Bans and Oakleys, Google’s emerging frames are designed to be sleek and traditional in appearance — they don’t look like big, bulky glasses with electronic devices crammed inside.
