Apple TV has just updated its selection of “bonus” films

Starting today, the Apple TV streaming service is offering a new selection of “bonus” movies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and some other countries.

While competitors like Netflix offer a huge catalog of films from different studios, Apple TV mainly offers its own original films produced by Apple. However, for the past few years, Apple has offered a “Great Movies Now on Apple TV” section with a limited rotation of iconic films that subscribers can watch at no additional cost.

The selection changes each month, with the following 13 films added today in the United States:

• 28 days later
• American gangster
• black hawk shot
• Blood Diamond
• Fallen
• Fury
• Go the distance
• Goodwill Hunt
• Insomnia
• Jurassic world
• Taxi driver
• The girl with the dragon tattoo
• Tropic Thunder

In the United States, seven other films remain available:

• A beautiful spirit
• A league of its own
• Certainly maybe
• I am a robot
• Master and Commander
• The rookie
• The sixth sense

Selection varies in other countries. For example, here are the films available in Canada:

• Catch me if you can
• Ford vs. Ferrari
• Godzilla
• Creation
• Jurassic Park
• Jurassic world
• Little Miss Sun
• Rocket Man
• Spider-Man: Far From Home
• Spider-Man: Homecoming
• The Martian
• The proposal
• The social network
• The city
• War of the Worlds

In the Philippines, one of the films included is Ready Player One.

In the US, Apple TV now costs $14.99/month, up from $4.99/month when it launched in 2019.
