Deals: MacBook Air M5, iPad Air M3, iPhone 17 Pro Max, more 9to5Mac

Joining Memorial Day 2026 sales at Amazon and Best Buy, today’s Lunch break 9to5Toys adds Apple’s base 15-inch MacBook Air M5, which hits a new all-time low on Amazon at nearly $200 off, plus Amazon’s clearance prices on the 13-inch 1TB iPad Air M3, dropping again to the best price ever with a giant $400 discount. We also have a rare $99 price drop on the iPhone 17 Pro Max today and Apple’s mid-range 13-inch 512GB iPad Pro M5 at just under $150 off. All of this is in addition to ongoing discounts on Satechi’s new Space Black metal 25W 3-in-1 MagSafe Mount, this exclusive launch deal on SANDMARC’s new precision-machined aluminum bike mount for iPhone creators, and the new Nintendo Switch 2 bundle. Take a closer look below.

Apple’s new base 15-inch MacBook Air M5 just hit Amazon’s all-time low at nearly $200 off

Amazon is now offering its best price ever on the new 15-inch MacBook Air M5. Now down almost another $50, you’ll find the most affordable model at $199 off via Amazon for the first time starting today.

Amazon is now offering the 15-inch MacBook Air M5 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage down to $1,099.99 shipped.

Regularly $1,299, you’re getting almost $200 off the list price and this is the very first time we’ve seen this model this low on Amazon. This is actually the first time we’ve seen an M5 MacBook Air nearly $200 off on Amazon since its release in March. There were a few particular configurations with charger upgrades in the Midnight color, which saw similar price drops at B&H for a limited time, but those deals are all gone now.

As of this writing, all colorways except the Midnight colorway have dropped the extra $50 – Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight.

Only the 16GB/512GB configuration in the 15-inch form factor offers additional savings this morning, but we’ll keep a close eye on the other models today and as we approach Memorial Day on Monday. We didn’t expect to see the new M5 Air go this low so soon, so it could just be a special offer on this configuration, only time will tell.

Amazon’s clearance price on the 13-inch 1TB iPad Air M3 just dropped to a new all-time low again with a giant $400 discount

Amazon has been quite aggressive with pricing deals on the still-perfectly capable M3 iPad Air over the past month or so as it looks to free up shelf space for the new M4 model. But, just like we saw yesterday with the 11-inch 1TB model, it has now hit another $100 off the 13-inch 1TB model to offer new, unprecedented low prices from a giant $400 off.

Amazon now offers Apple’s M3 iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cell 1TB 13-inch model at $1,049 shipped. This offer is in effect on the Gray model only and stock is low – get in there while everything is good.

This configuration cost $1,449 before being replaced by the most comparable M4 model at the same price in March 2026. Today’s deal is $100 less than the previous clearance price we tracked to offer $400 in savings and the lowest we’ve ever tracked on Amazon.

I could even argue that these M3 iPad Air clearance deals on Amazon are the best iPad discounts we’ve seen all year. No, they don’t come with the more powerful M4 chip, but at prices like these I’d say there are more than a few people who really don’t need the new model, and perhaps even more who might not even be able to tell the difference:

Rare $99 price drop hits iPhone 17 Pro Max today

While we’re starting to see Amazon Prime Renewed iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max deals, prices aren’t yet low enough to pass up an entirely new model. And while the same may be true for some people thanks to the Woot deals we have today on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, you can get one for up to $99 off right away. Details below.

Woot is now offering mint condition iPhone 17 Pro Max that “has never been in customer hands” with discounts now in all three colors:

Again, we’re not talking about massive price drops here and I’m not sure I’d recommend going for these Woot deals unless you’re in a position where the $99 savings Really makes a difference, but a deal is a deal.

These Woot units are not eligible for Apple Care, but they come with a one-year supplier warranty and, according to the listing, are essentially new with a “with a test sticker indicating 100% battery life”:

For about $100 more on the 1TB model, I might eat the difference and go straight to Apple for the iPhone 17 Pro Max at this point, but we’re clearly starting to see deals land on Apple’s latest, and hopefully even deeper deals thanks to Amazon Prime Renewed in the coming month or two.

Apple’s mid-range iPad Pro M5 13-inch 512GB returns to one of its best prices at nearly $150 off, more

After spotting a new Amazon all-time low on the M5 11-inch 1TB iPad Pro with nano-texture glass upgrade up to $1,499 shippedAmazon also brought back one of the best prices yet on the more accessible 13-inch 512GB mid-range model, at almost $150 off.

Amazon now offers the 13-inch 512GB iPad Pro M5 at $1,349.99 shipped in Space Black and Silver colors.

Regularly $1,499, it’s just under $150 off list prices and the best we can find in new condition. Today’s deal is comparable to the lowest we’ve tracked on Amazon for the Silver variant and within a few dollars of the best on the Space Black – it’s down to $1,344 for a very brief one-time stint.

You will also find the 11-inch 1 TB model, a bit mid-range, in the catalog. $150 off range on Amazon as well.

Although we see the most expensive models with $200 price drops every now and then – like the aforementioned 1TB model, the more accessible mid-range variants are rarely priced above $100 and $150 off.

While these models are, by almost anyone’s standards, still expensive, even with the deals, we’re talking about the latest M5-powered iPad Pro and one of the best on the planet if you ask me. That said, if you’re looking for a more affordable option, I recommend taking a look at the clearance deals on the iPad Air M3 right now – they’re very good:

Last week, Nintendo officially announced the new Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle deal, and it’s now available for purchase – it’s essentially the best and only deal on Switch 2.

  • Nintendo Switch 2: choose your game pack $500

This 14-inch MacBook Pro M5 24GB with 96W Apple Charger is $320 off today ($420 off introductory price)

While there are plenty of notable discounts on the M5 MacBook Pro and 2026 M5 Pro lineup on Amazon right now, B&H is landing with another special bundle this morning. This 24GB MacBook Pro M5 with the improved 96W Apple charger is $320 off right now ($420 off its introductory price).

B&H offers the 14-inch MacBook Pro M5 with 24 GB of RAM and the 1 TB internal SSD at $1,599 shipped.

This is a regular configuration at $1,899, but B&H also offers the upgraded 96W USB-C power adapter instead of the standard 70W model you’ll get in the standard box. Configure this same machine with the 96W wall charger from Apple adds an additional $20 to the price:

Today’s deal is $320 off list price and the best deal we can find. Amazon currently charges $1,749 for this same machine with the standard 70W charger, and it’s never been sold there for less than $1,699 – B&H’s current deal is very good for this particular configuration.

This configuration originally launched in late 2025 at $1,999 and is now $420 less than that. However, after Apple removed the 512GB storage tier, the price effectively dropped to the $1,899 (or $1,919 with the 96W charger) we have now.
