We’ve been and are still tracking many big price drops on the latest MacBook Pro releases, but this morning we’re seeing a significant discount on the most affordable model you can buy at $200 off list price and $300 less than its introductory price.

Amazon now offers Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro M5 with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage down to $1,499.99 shipped. The Space Black and Silver models are currently marked down at this price.

This matches the lowest price we’ve ever tracked on Amazon and is only the second time it’s gone this low.

The 16GB/1TB model launched in late 2025 at a list price of $1,799. Then, last March, Apple decided to remove the 512GB entry storage tier, dropping the price of that 1TB configuration to $1,699.

This effectively increased the price of entry into the MacBook Pro M5 line because there was no longer a 512GB model to buy, but it also made the 1TB storage capacity $100 more affordable.

Today’s deal is $300 off its introductory price and $200 below the current list price at Apple to match the lowest we’ve tracked to date. Today’s deal is, in fact, only the second time we’ve seen the M5 machine, now an entry-level model, drop to such a low price on Amazon.

We’re certainly getting our fair share of refurbished and open-box deals on the official iPad Pro Magic Keyboard, but notable discounts on new units are relatively rare. Arguably one of the best Apple Watch Series 11 deals we’ve tracked to date is back. While we’re seeing bigger deals on the pricey Titanium variants, Amazon is once again offering a $130 price drop on the 46mm Apple Watch Series 11 GPS+Cell models.
