I recently reviewed some multifunctional, high-power desktop chargers, and I think they are perfect for providing reliable power to your devices while keeping your space decluttered. Most chargers I’ve tested typically have a max output of 140, like the Nomos charger, or 200W, like Anker’s charging station. But as we have more and more technology that constantly needs to be recharged, getting something with higher wattage becomes essential, especially for power users. This is where CUKTECH’s new 30 Ultra Charging Station really stood out. It delivers up to 300W of power, features CUKTECH’s signature display, and offers something I haven’t seen in any other charger. Here’s what you need to know.
Of course, the big feature here is the 300W total power. That alone already puts the 30 Ultra in a different category compared to other chargers. While the screen is amazing and the 140W speed from a single port is fantastic, what makes it unique is its dedicated DC output, which I’ve never seen. You also get:
- 300W total output power
- 3 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port, 1 DC output
- Two 140W USB-C PD 3.1 ports
- 1.8-inch color diagnostic display with real-time total power, power per port and temperature monitoring
- Includes 240W USB-C PD 3.1 cable

For Apple users in particular, the two 140W USB-C PD 3.1 ports are a nice touch. This means you can quickly charge two 16-inch MacBook Pros at the same time and at full speed. Next, one of the most underrated features is the overall footprint. You can see from the images that even though it has 300W of power, it is still compact and relatively portable. Finally, it also brings a nice heavy, paperweight-like stand that tilts the charger slightly. This adds to the premium feel and finish of the 30 Ultra. But how has he held up in recent weeks?
My experience
The first thing I noticed when I installed it was how much I loved the look and aesthetic of it. I have it on my desk as my primary desktop charger and also use the included stand. It looks really premium and fits in well with the rest of my tech accessories. It also helped me immediately declutter my space. I have a lot of tech products that need to be charged at all times, so having something that can charge all my devices at maximum speed has been great.
I mainly use it to charge everything except my MacBook, which is always plugged in via Thunderbolt to my Satechi CubeDock. For example, I plugged in my studio lighting, which uses about 65W of power. I usually have my iPad Pro charging. I use it to charge my DJI Osmo Pocket and to recharge my Sony camera batteries via the USB-A port. Normally I don’t go near 300W, but it’s nice to know it can easily handle it if I need it.

For me, the best use case was displaying diagnostics. I’ve mentioned before that being able to get real-time power readings for different products has been extremely beneficial to my work. I use it to test the speed claims of different products and brands. Not just the products themselves, but also the cables used and their claims. Another nice touch is that the 30 Ultra can actually distinguish which product or brand is being billed. For example, if I plug in my iPad or Mac, it will tell me that an Apple device is charging! Then, being able to take a quick look at power output, charging speeds, and overall system load brings out the nerd in me. Real-time information can also help illustrate the rise and fall of the load. So if you have an iPod with a very low battery, you can see how quickly it reaches maximum charging speeds, and then when it hits 80%, you can see trickle charging start to take effect.
Then you have the dedicated DC output. This one surprised me because, as an Apple user, I’m not usually exposed to a port like that. But I know many gamers who use high-performance Windows gaming laptops from brands like Razer, ASUS, and Alienware. Having a single desktop charging solution that can realistically support both workflows is impressive and unique.

Pricing and availability
The CUKTECH 30 Ultra is available on Amazon for $159. There’s a 10% off code right on the product page that brings it down to around $145. It comes in a color variation and includes the 30 Ultra charger, a braided power cable, a 240W USB-C cable, and the stand. To give some context, there aren’t many (if any) chargers that provide 300W of power, have a USB-A port, and include a diagnostic screen. The closest comparison is the Anker Prime for $150, but that’s only 250W.
Final Thoughts
The 30 Ultra from CUKTECH looks like one of those products that is a no-brainer if you’re a power user and need to constantly keep your high-powered tech charged. It helps you declutter your desktop, offers the fastest possible charging on Apple products, keeps everything safe with its security monitoring, and lets you monitor every aspect of the charging process. I also like that it still includes a USB-A port, since I still have a few small accessories that need it. The only thing I wish they would add is a built-in retractable cable like the one on the Nomos. Although it does provide a cable in the package, it would be nice to have one built-in. But if you’re looking for a desktop charger that’s high-powered, reliable, and gives you real-time feedback, this is my recommendation.
