Perplexity has released a brand new version of its macOS app that replaces the company’s previous Mac software.
Perplexity says PC is now available to all Pro and Max subscribers
The new app touts an “all-new native Mac experience” that powers Perplexity’s personal computer agentic functionality.
It launches with a slick introductory video that explains how the personal computer works on Mac.
The app includes a universal keyboard shortcut, pressing both command keys, to invoke the new command bar.
Perplexity began deploying Personal Computer in April. Starting today, the company says all Pro and Max subscribers can access this feature through the new Mac app.
The original app is still available for now, but Perplexity says it will disappear soon. You can download the new Perplexity Mac app here.
