May is here, so let’s check the MacBook Neo inventory for the new month. In April, Apple sold out of its online inventory for the month after just 15 days. For the month of May, Apple is starting the month with MacBook Neo shipping estimates ranging from May 18th to May 26th.
Apple doesn’t seem to be catching up with MacBook Neo demand anytime soon
The quickest way to buy a MacBook Neo from Apple is to take advantage of in-store stock. As delivery dates continue to move back daily, in-store pickup options change throughout the month.
Meanwhile, Amazon is shaving $10 off the $599 price and offering select styles, including citrus, indigo, and blush styles, arriving as early as May 3. Other models are promised for around the middle of the month.
Walmart seems to be the best place to find silver MacBook Neo inventory with next-day delivery options.
Apple revealed the MacBook Neo on March 4, opening pre-orders shortly after the announcement. The MacBook Neo arrived in stores a week later, on March 11.
Launch inventory quickly sold out, and Apple hasn’t caught up with demand since. The MacBook Neo comes in four colors (silver, blush, citrus, and indigo) and two configurations (256GB or 512GB with Touch ID).

Apple CEO Tim Cook said the Mac “had its best launch week ever for new Mac customers” following the arrival of the MacBook Neo. Cook said customer response to the Neo was “just off the charts” during yesterday’s earnings call.
9to5Mac’s Chance Miller called the MacBook Neo “a truly great Mac at an incredible price” in our official review.
