iOS 26.5 will launch very soon, and the RC that debuted today revealed that Apple’s latest Pride wallpaper comes in 11 colorful variations, as well as a custom option to create your own.

Earlier today, Apple announced the launch of a new Pride wallpaper on iOS and iPadOS 26.5.
The company has also just delivered iOS and iPadOS 26.5 RC versions. These builds allowed developers and public beta users to access the new wallpaper ahead of public launches.
And it turns out the new wallpaper offers more than we expected.
iOS 26.5 includes 11 distinct versions of the Pride wallpaper, all in a variety of fun colors that pair beautifully with Apple’s Liquid Glass design.
Joining these 11 unique variations is a custom generator that lets you manually choose the colors that will appear in your iPhone wallpaper.
This custom generator allows you to select between 1 and up to 12 different colors in the color picker. Each color you select is combined to form your new personalized wallpaper.
So if Apple’s 11 preset options don’t give you enough variety, iOS 26.5 lets you create the perfect, colorful, glassy wallpaper for you.
And be sure to check out the grayed out version when your iPhone is in always-on display mode. The transition to color is quite successful.
