ADT will offer home installation of Apple’s new HomeView and more

Apple today announced that ADT will offer professional in-home installation of its all-new HomeView smart home wall hub, confirming our scoop.

ADT technicians will be able to install the wall-mounted version of HomeView, the new Apple Home Collection of smart home accessories from LG and Schneider Home, and other eligible smart home accessories in “most regions” in the United States, according to Apple’s website. More details are available on the ADT website.

The wall-mounted HomeView is available in space gray and silver. It has the same 7-inch screen as the tabletop version and speaker holes are present on the bottom edge. It can be attached to a wall using three specially designed Schneider Home brackets, with options for self-installation or professional installation at an additional cost.

Apple said ADT installation services would be available in the United States “starting this fall.”

In the United States, the HomeView tabletop and wall-mounted models are priced at $299.
