You can’t go wrong here
If you are planning to build a new PC or just want to upgrade your current build, this processor will be a fantastic option. As for hardware, you’re looking at 16 cores, 32 threads, and a clock speed of up to 5.7 GHz.
In our testing, this chip didn’t lag at all, crushing every task without breaking a sweat. However, we recommend good cooling. So if you’re looking for a chip that performs well in everything, we recommend grabbing the Ryzen 9 9950X3D while it’s on sale.
If you need a chip just for gaming or just productivity, we recommend finding something dedicated to that task. But the Ryzen 9 9950X3D hits the sweet spot and, as previously noted, manages to do everything very well.
