A supposed Geekbench result for an unreleased M6 Pro chip surfaced this week, but it’s likely false.
Geekbench creator John Poole informed Woozad that it discovered “internal inconsistencies” that lead it to believe the M6 Pro result might not be legitimate. BloombergMark Gurman of Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple plans to skip the M6 Pro and M6 Max chips altogether.
