Along with the new beta versions of iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2, Apple released the first beta versions of watchOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2. The beta builds arrive two days after the release of software updates 27.0.
Registered developers can download beta versions through the Settings app on each device.
Two new Apple Intelligence features will come to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 in late 2026, and Apple could start testing them as soon as watchOS 27.2. Live Rewind will allow users to double-tap the Digital Crown to get a transcript of what was said in the last 15 seconds, while Siri Recap will turn conversations users had throughout the day into high-level notes.
It’s unclear what’s added in visionOS 27.2 and tvOS 27.2, but Apple is expected to introduce a new version of the Apple TV 4K with Siri AI support before the end of the year.
