As Broadcasts developer Steven Troughton-Smith noted, many Liquid Glass interface elements in the macOS Golden Gate beta look even glassier on some high-end OLED displays that support HDR than on regular displays.
Apple is reportedly planning to release new MacBook Pro or “MacBook Ultra” models with an OLED display by early 2027, so it’s likely that macOS Golden Gate has these Liquid Glass enhancements in the works for those laptops.
