Former Apple CFO Luca Maestri is stepping back from the company again, reports Bloomberg. Maestri left his role as CFO in January 2025, but remained at Apple to lead the company’s enterprise services teams.
Maestri resigned from this position in recent weeks and Bloomberg says he is still at Apple but has no responsibilities other than teaching a class at Apple University. Maestri reported to former Apple CEO Tim Cook, but he did not report to new Apple CEO John Ternus. Maestri is slowly stepping away from Apple and going into the office about once a week.
Corporate services include information systems and technology, information security, and real estate and development. The team is taken over by Kevan Parekh, who became Apple’s financial director after Maestri’s departure.
Bloomberg said Cook liked to keep departing executives in smaller roles, but Ternus might not continue that practice.
